International admissions

Istanbul Kent University's International Office sets out a three-step process: fill in the online application form and upload documents; receive a conditional offer letter, valid for one week, and pay the deposit; then receive the official acceptance letter together with a visa support letter sent to the embassy where the student applies. Eligibility is assessed against a published PDF table of accepted international and local examinations and diplomas, with separate and higher minimum scores for the Dentistry programme. The deposit is deducted from tuition at registration and is non-refundable unless official proof of visa rejection is submitted. The FAQ states that undergraduate students are admitted for the Fall intake only, with the application period usually running from March to September, while graduate intake is open in both Fall and Spring.

• Online application form submitted through the International Office site or the apply.kent.edu.tr portal
• Passport copy
• High school transcript or grade report, in English or Turkish translation
• High school diploma, in English or Turkish translation
• A qualifying result from the published 'List of Acceptable International-Local Examinations and Diplomas', e.g. Turkish high school diploma 50% diploma grade; SAT minimum 600 out of 800 in Math and 1000 out of 1600 total across Math and Critical Reading; ACT minimum 21 out of 36 in Math, Science Reasoning and Composite; GCE a minimum of two C passes at A Level (or stated AS Level combinations); Advanced Placement minimum 3 out of 5 in at least two subjects; IB 25 diploma grade out of 45; European Baccalaureate 50% diploma grade; French Baccalauréat Général 10 out of 20; TR-YÖS 250
• Higher thresholds apply to the Dentistry programme, e.g. 60% diploma grade and TR-YÖS 300
• Deposit (advance) payment in the amount stated in the conditional offer letter, deducted from tuition at official registration; non-refundable unless official proof of visa rejection is submitted
• The conditional offer letter is valid for one week, so the deposit must be paid within that window
• A bachelor's degree is required for graduate degree applications
